Front Cover- Research

 The Front cover above stood out for me due to the title as well as the models eye-line match with the buyer.

 I particularly like the way that this Front cover is i9n Black and White with a statement colour in this case Red.

 The two colours work significantly well together here as well as the different fonts used throughout this front cover. This Front Cover subverts the normal stereo type of a magazine this is due to subverting the gaze theory, as it is common for a magazine to have a stereotypical 'it' girl with blonde hair and eye-line match as you can see the image above does not link.  

 The multiple different fonts as well as the colour of the models lips as well as the statement work extremely well together.

 The eye contact as well as the multiple different exclusive stories work and makes this a busy but yet simple Music Magazine front cover.

 The motif of black and white as well as the red hair. lips and title make this front cover plain but powerful.

 The multitudes of colour make this a striking front cover. I particularly like the free CD idea.

As this Magazine is from the same genre as my magazine I looked deeply into this front page and gained a lot of inspiration from fonts, colours, positioning and specials.
